• Can be mounted overhead and will function in any orientation. The 3/16”-diameter galvanized steel line resists corrosion and abrasion, and automatically pays out and retracts into the housing.
• Rugged all-steel construction is sealed against environmental contamination. Unit requires no factory service unless damaged or loaded, as in a fall.
• Three continuously moving, independent locking pawls will engage even in freezing and icy conditions. The Dyna-Lock has a 4.5 foot-per-second locking speed to permit normal worker movement without interference, yet locks up and arrests a fall within 24 inches.
• Built-in shock absorber limits fall arrest forces to under 900 lb. A corrosion-resistant, self-closing and self-locking steel snaphook is provided on a swivel mount to reduce line twisting.
• The Backpacker™ model has a special nozzle which allows the user to attach the housing of the device to the back D-ring of the user’s harness, while the snaphook on the free end of the line is connected to the anchorage with a suitable anchorage connector.
• Load indicator on snaphook deploys on impact. Meets OSHA regulations and ANSI Z359.1 and ANSI A10.14 standards.
